Roop Nagar (Punjab)
Roop Nagar (Ropar) situated on Anandpur Sahib route at Roop Nagar, there is archaeological remnants, which joins India's pre-historic age period with present one. Its archaeological museum and Super Thermal Plant are renowned. In Sutlaj water, 250 species of migrant birds take refuge.

BhakhraNangal Dam : built on river Sutlej and spreads over 40 sq km is one of its own kind of dam. Perhaps the largest dam in the world, which supplies electricity to the north India.
