The Ranthambor National Park: (14 km), called "Heaven for the tigers", is very eminent and famous among wildlife sanctuaries of the country. Spreading over 329sq km in the dense forest of Aravali and Vindhya ranges, the sanctuary is having many reservoirs, out of which three are big enough-Padam Lake Rajbag and Milak Talab. These lakes are the centres of activities of tiger, sambhar ,cheetal, bull, crocodiles etc. Sometime the tourists and the animals come across each other. Jeeps can be hired for taking a round in the Park.
