Being important from the mythological and religious point of view, is situated on the bank of Mandakini. Ram and Sita spent their twelve years of banishment here. Kalinjar : is situated in Bundelkhand, once the huge historic ancient fort had been of strategic importance during medieval times. Situated on a height of 700 feet height in the Vindhyachal ranges was secured by its surrounding walls. Three, out of four gates Kamta Gate, Panna Gate, and Reva Gate exist today.
