Vrindavan had been land of spiritual love and affection between Radha and Krishna. Only 15 kms away from Mathura, this is the place where Lord Krishna played his flute and performed his LEELAS. The town was later immortalized in the poems of Surdas, Raskhan, Meerabai and other great saints and poets. Govind Dev Temple: an example of architectural excellence of medieval India. Shahji Temple : is known for its architecture, sculpture and marble spiral columns. The deity of this temple is popularly known as Chote Radha Raman.
Krishna Balram Temple: (ISKON) has been built by the International Society Of Kroshna Conciousness and attracts devotees from all over the world. Adjoining the temple is the Samadhi of Sri Prabhupad, the founder of ISKON. Other places of interest are Dwarikadhish Temple, Banke Bihari Temple, Radha Vallabh Temple, Madan Mohan Temple, Jaipur Temple, Keshi Ghat etc. The places around include Gokul, Mahavan, Baldev, RadhaKund, Govardhan, Barsana, Nandgaon etc.
